PSNA Disability Awareness

This half-day course is designed for all staff who are likely to come into contact with disabled customers.
Course Aims and Objectives Course Programme
After completing this course delegates will:
  • Be more aware of the needs of their disabled customers and colleagues
  • Have the confidence and knowledge to deal with these individuals appropriately and without discrimination
  • Understand their responsibilities in law in relation to disability discrimination
  • Receive practical information on improving access for people with a range of disabilities

  • Disability Discrimination Act 1995
  • Understanding the barriers to access
Assessment
There is no formal assessment but attendance certificates will be provided for all delegates.
