Pat Perry, Executive Chairman

Pat qualified as an Environmental Health Officer in 1978 and has spent her career in both the public and private sectors.

Perry Scott Nash Associates was formed in 1988 as Pat believed passionately that businesses should be able to obtain advice and guidance about health and safety legislation and regulatory compliance from a safety management consultancy rather than face prosecution from increasingly overzealous enforcement agencies.

And so Perry Scott Nash Associates was born and has since grown into a leading UK health and safety consultancy which Pat continues to lead with commitment and passion. Customer service, relationships, partnerships, quality and standards underpin the success of Perry Scott Nash Associates.

An area of individual interest to Pat is CDM construction design management, and in particular the CDM Coordinator role. Pat is considered to be a leading expert within this field, a fact substantiated by the numerous books on the topic that she has had published, most notably 'CDM 2007 Questions & Answers' published by Butterworth Heinemann, which provides a 'One-stop guide to health & safety in construction'.

Pat's wealth of expertise of health and safety legislation is not limited to CDM construction design management as she has also written various books on health and safety, food safety, and fire safety which have been published by the British Standards Institute and Thomas Telford. She continues to combine high level health and safety consulting with guiding the business to greater success and writing new books in her spare time.
